Hahahaha, great attempt -aggie-! Now I'm sure you're a WW!! I've suspected alllll along, and now you pull this faux Seer out of the same hat you pull your bunnies from. -aggie-.

You might have pulled the (werewolf) wool over the eyes of the others, but you are NOT fooling me! YOU are the werewolf, I'm simply your red herring.

My new avatar didn't help me much. But maybe this will help you out.

    Should they be fired?

Not for avoiding geting involved in a violent situation. As iJH said, they're not the law, and there's no way McDs could support some sort of 'employee vigilante' action.

    They should get sacked for:
    - Unprofessional behaviour. Standing 'round laughing as someone gets kicked in the head isn't part of their job description
    - Aiding and assisting in a crime. Telling the perps that they'd better leave as the police are about to arrive isn't in their job description either.

I love the Macbook Air but I would hate it if they released a new one. Especially since this was only out in 10/2010.

it's going to be a spec upgrade. this happens every year with hardware

    So we have...
    -A few porn stars
    -A Ferrari
    -A briefcase of cocaine
    -Excessive alcohol consumption
-A $30,000 check to a porn star is this any different than 'Two and a Half Men'?

    I love this man.
minus the cocaine and I'm in.

you could not be more wrong.....

if you take guns away from the legitimate and responsible owners, then what does that help? did you really make a difference? no....

and all the criminals will still have there guns.

and all the sudden they have just as much power as the law enforcement, and now they don't have to be afraid that I might have my gun when they rob me. because we don't have our guns....

    Hey! Someone that gets it!

Where the **** did I ever suggest anything of the sort?

Because I'm not jumping for joy and mindlessly chanting it means I didn't want justice done for a mass murderer?

Who was talking about stretches earlier?

Probably because you're coming across as overtly cynical about the whole thing with your 'this is zero news/we might actually be worse off' stance. No matter how much you spin is huge news. Both PR wise, as well as to those directly involved the war.

Everyone and their grandmother knows it's not over...not even by a long shot, something even Obama stressed in his speech. We all know whats likely coming. But that doesn't change the fact that the triumph...however small in the grand scheme remains significant

Both computers now up-and-running. No complaints from the designers regarding poor performance :)

I'm running the standard client, I'll look into the other options when I got some spare time.

It's quite remarkable to see the performance boost compared to my G5 dual 1.8 that's been folding for years.

glad to hear it. just so you know, the bigadv units will get you some big time points. it really is worth it if the machine is fast enough, and i'm pretty sure those are

    Nope, I haven't either

yeah, but i still haven't gotten my points back yet

I think they will come either this last update or the next one. As if you look at the hourly graphs for any team a huge spike existed for the last hour. This is probably stanford processing log files. It may take time for them all to be processed.

Mine is definitely thicker than my black one. One of them (bought two today) is actually crooked.... when I lay it down on a flat surface it doesn't lay down completely... there is a "wobble" to it.. wonder if the case is warped.

Maybe a sign of universal iOS+Mac apps?

It wouldn't be too difficult for Apple to provide something like Rosetta for iDevice apps. It sounds extremely un-apple though. The only reason Apple provided Rosetta was to ease the PowerPC-Intel transition. I don't think there is any real benefit here because many iDevice apps would not translate well to a mouse and keyboard. It's possible that new iOS apps would have a "mac mode" that would solve this, so who knows.

I hope this is true. A lot of people would go to T-Mobile because of their competitive pricing and that would encourage AT&T and Verizon to lower their prices too. Hell, I would consider switching.

nah Verizon and AT&T would furlough a couple of goons to go and see that Tmobile prices were brought up to their level...there is NO WAY TMobile will be allowed to undersale Verizon and AT&T...NO WAY...Tmobile, Sprint and whoever else you wanna name only has lower rates now because they are starved for new customers, losing old customers to Verizon and AT&T and they DON'T have an iPhone...

let us know how it goes

I've started with <./fah6 -bigadv -smp 16 -local> after getting rid of the unit it was working on, it is finally using all 16 cores now, had only been using 8. It doesn't look like it's doing anything more strenuous.

Halo: Reach Limited Edition Xbox 360 S

Replacing my old Xbox 360 Elite. Can't wait to get all this set up and play.

How is the statue of the noble team that comes with the legendary edition? Is it cheap looking or actually worth it?

    Looks cool from pictures.

Sheen filed a lawsuit Thursday against Warner Bros. and "Two and a Half Men" producer Chuck Lorre for $100 million, plus punitive damages, TMZ reports.

Sheen, 45, is demanding he get paid for the eight "Two and a Half Men" episodes that were canceled this year, and he's also suing to gain lost wages and benefits for the show's crew.

Sheen's lawyer Marty Singer drafted the suit, and, according to TMZ, writes in the preamble: "Chuck Lorre, one of the richest men in television who is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, believes himself to be so wealthy and powerful that he can unilaterally decide to take money away from the dedicated cast and crew of the popular television series, 'Two and a Half Men,' in order to serve his own ego and self-interest, and make the star of the Series the scapegoat for Lorre's own conduct."

The suit blames the show's cancellation on "Warner Bros. capitulating to Lorre's egotistical desire to punish Mr. Sheen."

Poor Charlie, I never knew that he was completely innocent of all this and just a poor victim. While I feel bad for everyone else on the show loosing out financially, I hope Time Warner fights this and that Charlie doesn't get a penny out of it. Honestly, I just wish the earth would swallow this idiot up.
