One of my friend got their Fingerprinting letter and the last name is misspelled. What should they do go ahead and take it to the FP office or call USCIS and get it corrected.
Anyone in similar sitaution? Please advise.

Hello,
I am in the process of gathering my documents for EB1 filling. My lawyer and I went through my publication list today.
I have a number of peer reviewed publications that have been accepted and available online (with DOI - Digital Identification Identifiers) but have not yet made it to paper copies.
My lawyer is hesitant to include these "Online First" articles since they are not technically out He claimed that immigration tends to lean towards traditional publication channels and therefore it would be preferable to since technically, they are still in press.
Is this accurate? Under what conditions can one include accepted (online first) publications?

Does the husband has a pending LC / I140 / I485? If yes, the dates matters.

Pl. advise what all documents do I need to send to USCIS for extending stay on visitor visa for my parents.From all the sources I read so far here is the list of documents that I feel that needs to included :
1)I-539
2)Letter to USCIS (from me the sponsor) explaining the reason for extending the stay.Please post any letter format that I can use.
3)Copy of parents passport
4)Copy of I-94
5)Copy of original return ticket (with return date in 6 month from 1st entry)
6)$300 fees
Questions :
Do I need to sent I-131
Do I need to send bank statement and recenet paychecks
Do I need to buy new ticket for extended date and send a copy?
This is a last minute decision.I-94 expires in 3 weeks.PLease help .

If it has been more than 90 days for the EAD renewal application and the EAD is about to expire, what can one do? I know they no longer give walk-in EADs. I have tried to contact them but no positive response. Any help would be appreciated.

I am currently working on H1B1 � and my visa is valid till May 2009. The visa on passport (from last employer) is valid till March 2008. We applied for green card through my spouse�s company � our I485 has been applied (His H1B1 is valid till Mar 2008). We both got our Advance Paroles, and he got his EAD � about 5 weeks ago. Though my EAD was also requested at the same time, I have not received mine as yet.
Due to my husband�s job we are moving to another city in November. I plan to resign from my job at the end of November, and go for 6 week vacation to India. I plan to look for a new job (hopefully on with my EAD) when I get back in January 2008. I have following questions:
1. Now when I resign & my H1B1 gets cancelled, what would be my status in USA.
2. Do I need to get back to H4 status to come back to US (or just AP would be enough for POE)
3. Do I need to get back to H4 status to stay in US
Thanks in advance for all help

Can I change to different employer while the i140 is pending and also keep the PD. What i would like to do is..i want to change to a different employer and ask the present employer to keep the i-140 process as it is.
Is it ok if the i-140 gets approved while i no longer work for that company. I understand if i get any RFE, then employer need to respond accordingly.

This is bad news about July visa bulletin being changed. I'm sorry for everybody who had bad news.
I think maybe it is bad news for me too.
I was waiting for interview letter, my PD is March 2006 but I am going thru consular processing. I have I140 approved since February 2006.
I have 'case complete' and was waiting for packet 4.
I don't know what this all means for me now.
